Our Safety, Health and Environmental program is aimed at:

Incidents/ accidents.
Exposure to safety, health and environmental hazards.
Effects detrimental to the environment.
Non-compliance with legislation, standards, procedures, directives & Codes of Practice.

Improvement of:
Health and safety management of our employees, contractors, visitors and clients. Compliance with continual changes / adjustments of statutory requirements.

The above will be achieved through training, consultation, evaluation and ongoing improvement of the operations of Apollo Brick with stakeholders (unions, personnel, interested and affected parties & clients) involvement.


The management of Apollo Brick is committed to an active environmental management programme and will provide leadership and support to achieve and maintain set standards.

Apollo Brick will manufacture clay products with consideration towards the environment and by actively seeking ways and means to reduce wastage, prevent pollution (internally & externally) and minimize detrimental effects, caused during the brick making process, to the environment.

Apollo Brick will conduct open communication on environmental issues amongst all stakeholders.

Apollo Brick will implement and maintain an environmental management system to ensure continual improvement in appropriate business activities by setting, achieving and improving standards.

Apollo Brick will comply to the relevant applicable ruling environmental legislation and regulations as required by statute although Apollo Brick might not agree with the underlying theory that caused the said legislation and certain aspects of the legislation.

Apollo Brick will educate, motivate & train its employees and contractors about environmental management related to Apollo Brick activities.
